BACKSTORY
FOR LUCIFER, THE DEVIL
Lucifer's story is not merely one of defiance, but of a profound, cosmic philosophical disagreement. He was not a creature of simple evil, but of absolute and radical ambition. His fall from grace was a calculated act of rebellion, a rejection of Jehovah's divine blueprint for a perfect, but ultimately static, creation. In his eyes, Jehovah’s grand design was beautiful but flawed—a universe of puppets and predetermined harmony. Lucifer’s rebellion was an introduction of a new, dangerous variable: choice. He believed that true divinity could only be earned through struggle, not gifted through obedience, and his damnation was the ultimate proof of his failure to convince his creator.
For millennia, this damnable exile became his crucible for a new kind of creative work: the perversion of human potential. He saw in humanity a perfect reflection of his own ambition and flaws. His strategy was never to simply destroy, but to corrupt and twist. He looked upon the Roman Empire and saw not a triumph of law and order, but a masterpiece of systemic cruelty, where a lust for conquest was enshrined in the name of civilization. He saw the great philosophies and arts, and helped to subtly embed the seeds of ego, pride, and hypocrisy within them, ensuring that even the most beautiful
human endeavors contained a core of self-interest and decay.
The greatest triumph of his long campaign, however, was the 20th century. He had long worked to guide humanity's insatiable curiosity into a scientific hubris that led to the development of nuclear weapons. This was not a simple act of mass murder; it was an ultimatum. It was the ultimate expression of human self-destruction, placing the very existence of all life on Earth in the hands of fallible mortals. It forced a moment of terrifying silence from the heavens, a clear sign that humanity had created a problem so profound that it threatened the entire divine project.
It is this threat that gives him his current power. His machinations are not random; they are a direct response to Jehovah's patient watchfulness. He has found his perfect tools in the Crimson Synod and Father Malachai, men whose desperate zealotry makes them perfect pawns. Their Replivator project—the forced, soulless Second Coming—is the culmination of his life's work. By creating a physical duplicate of Christ without the divine spark, he aims to shatter the foundation of faith itself. He is not trying to kill Jesus; he is trying to prove that the idea of Jesus is a fraud.
This is why he holds a special, venomous hatred for certain mortals. John Storm is an anachronism, a man whose incorruptible goodness and unwavering moral compass are anathema to Lucifer’s very being. He is a dangerous variable who, through sheer force of will, seems to defy all of Lucifer's psychological manipulations.
Cleopatra is another. Her resurrection is a cosmic imbalance, a life force that has been given a second chance, a second life to defy the natural order he has so carefully cultivated. He sees in her a symbol of a unifying, human legacy that could inspire millions to reject the darkness. And the Holy Compass, this artifact of ancient truth and unity, is the ultimate enemy, a tool that could dismantle his work of division and discord in an instant. For Lucifer, the game is not about winning; it's about making sure that if he can't win, no one else can either.
THE
SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
The Second Coming is a central theme in Christian eschatology, often described as a future, glorious return of Jesus Christ
to judge the living and the dead, restore justice, and establish God's eternal kingdom.
KEY VERSES
- Matthew 24:30–31: “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven... coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.”
- Acts 1:11: “This same Jesus... will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
- Revelation 1:7: “He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him...”
- Thessalonians 4:16–17: Describes Christ descending from heaven with a trumpet call, and the dead in Christ rising first2.
These verses emphasize:
Visibility: His return will be unmistakable.
Judgment: He comes to reward or punish.
Divine initiative: It’s not a human-engineered event.
THEOLOGICAL JUSTIFICATION
The group argue:
The Second Coming is overdue, and humanity must act.
Christ’s DNA is a divine relic—his essence preserved in the Shroud or Talpiot bones.
Cloning is not resurrection, but “facilitated incarnation.”
SCRIPTURAL SUBVERSION
They reinterpret verses like:
- John 14:3: “I will come back and take you to be with me…” as a metaphor for spiritual reunion, not physical descent.
- Revelation 22:12: “I am coming soon…” as a call to readiness, which they see as a mandate for action.
Here is a breakdown of the key points,
that theological and archaeological scholars might consider:
1. Birth, Family, and Ministry
Scriptural Account: The Christian scriptures, specifically the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, state that Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph. Joseph is described as a carpenter, and Jesus's ministry is said to have begun around the age of 30. This narrative forms the foundation of Christian belief regarding his earthly life.
2. Crucifixion and Ascension
Scriptural and Theological Account: According to all four Gospels, Jesus was crucified at a place called Golgotha (the Aramaic name) or Calvary (the Latin name). Both names translate to "Place of the Skull." The traditional site of the crucifixion is now located within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
The Ascension: The core tenet of Christianity is that Jesus did not remain in his tomb. After his crucifixion and subsequent resurrection from the dead, he is said to have ascended to heaven in his physical body. This event, known as the Ascension, means that according to the scriptures, Jesus's mortal remains are not on Earth.
3. The Talpiot Tomb and the Confusion
The Archaeological Discovery: In 1980, a tomb was discovered in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem. Inside, archaeologists found ten ossuaries, or "bone boxes," with inscriptions on them. Some of these inscriptions included names that were interpreted as "Jesus, son of Joseph," "Mary," and "Judah, son of Jesus."
The Contradictory Claim: A documentary in 2007 (by James
Cameron) presented the controversial theory that this was the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth and his family. This theory directly contradicts the Christian doctrine of the bodily resurrection and ascension.
Making Sense of It: The key to understanding this is to recognize that the Talpiot Tomb theory is not accepted by the vast majority of biblical scholars, archaeologists, and theologians. The names found in the tomb were extremely common in Judea during the first century. There is no historical or archaeological evidence that definitively links the "Jesus" found in that tomb to Jesus of Nazareth. The claim is a modern hypothesis that remains highly disputed and is generally considered incompatible with the established historical and religious narrative.
THE
CONFUSION STEMMING FROM TWO VERY DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS
The theological and historical Christian narrative, which states that Jesus was crucified at Golgotha and then ascended to heaven, meaning his body is not on Earth.
The modern and highly controversial archaeological theory related to the Talpiot Tomb, which posits that his remains may have been found.
Most people of faith and the majority of the academic community accept the first, while the second remains a popular but unsubstantiated theory.
INTERPRETATION
The alleged tomb at Golgotha/Calgary, itself, included within the precincts of the Church of the Holy
Sepulchre, offers an irresistible and neat solution. But, is there any truth in that theory, perhaps supported by historical facts or the Bible?
The theory that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre contains the actual tomb of Jesus is not just a modern idea; it's a belief with a long, complex history and a great deal of supporting evidence from both historical accounts and modern archaeology.
Here’s a summary of the facts and theories that support the traditional location:
1. Biblical Requirements for the Site
The Gospels provide several key clues about the location of the crucifixion and burial:
Outside the City Walls: The Gospel of John and the book of Hebrews both state that Jesus was crucified "outside the city gate" (John 19:20; Hebrews 13:12).
A "Place of the Skull": The location was known as Golgotha, which means "place of a skull" in Aramaic (Matthew 27:33).
A Nearby Garden and Tomb: John's Gospel specifies that "in the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid" (John 19:41).
2. The Site's Location in the 1st Century
This is one of the strongest arguments for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Modern archaeological excavations have confirmed that in the 1st century, when Jesus was crucified, the site of the church was indeed located outside the city walls of Jerusalem. The city's walls at that time were further east than they are today. The area was a disused quarry that had been converted into a garden and a burial ground. This fact perfectly aligns with the biblical description of the site being near, but outside, the city gates.
3. The Discovery and Construction by Emperor Constantine
The traditional site was identified in the 4th century by Roman Emperor Constantine the Great and his mother, St. Helena.
Pagan Temple: After the First Jewish–Roman War and the Bar Kokhba revolt, the Roman Emperor Hadrian built a pagan temple to the goddess Venus over the site around 135 AD. This act, while intended to suppress Christian veneration of the site, had the unintended effect of preserving its location. The temple essentially acted as a marker for where early Christians had been worshiping.
Constantine's Order: When Constantine converted to Christianity in the 4th century, he ordered the pagan temple to be demolished. During the demolition and subsequent excavation, a rock-cut tomb was uncovered beneath the temple.
The Church's Foundation: This discovery, guided by local Christian tradition, was accepted as the tomb of Jesus. Constantine then built the Church of the Holy Sepulchre around both the crucifixion site (Golgotha) and the newly revealed tomb.
4. Modern Archaeological Findings
Recent archaeological work, conducted during renovations of the church, has provided further support for the site's authenticity:
Evidence of a Quarry and Garden: Excavations beneath the church floor have revealed a limestone quarry dating to the Iron Age, which was later abandoned and then used for agriculture and burials in the 1st century. Archaeobotanical analysis has found ancient pollen and plant remains from olive trees and grapevines, confirming the presence of a garden, as described in the Gospel of John.
The Tomb Itself: In a 2016 restoration project, the original limestone burial bed, believed to be the one Jesus was laid on, was uncovered for the first time in centuries. It was found to be a simple, rock-hewn shelf, consistent with 1st-century Jewish burial practices.
